We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2021, at the age of 70, Sharon Hummel of Lansdale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Hummel; her father Ernest Schoellig; and her parents-in-law, Mabel Hummel and John Hummel. She is survived by: her mother Irene Schoellig; her children, Chris Hummel and Joel Hummel (Stephanie); her grandchildren, McKenzie Hummel and Zachary Hummel; her siblings, Donald Shoellig (Kay), Shirley Morey (Russ) and Sue Welch (Jon); and her sister-in-law Janis Rawson (James). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions in Sharon's memory be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation at nationalbreastcancer.org.

“Sherry was such a good kind person. We met while we working in the school district p. She was very instrumental in helping to make changes for her fellow paraeducators in our group. I knew right away she and I would be friends. We met a few times after we retired. I had just texted her about our retiree lunch, she was coming to be with family in July I said “family first” and was our last text! 💕”
