He is survived by: his spouse DeLorise J.; his children, David J. Flint Jr. (Debbie), Diane L. Shute and Daniel T. Flint (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Charlie Shute, Katie Burke, Rebecca Mercedes, Daniel Flint Jr. Michael Flint, Marisa Fahrner and David J. Flint III; and his great grandchildren, Finley Fahrner, Sloan Fahrner Michael Burke, Ryan Burke and Isabella Mercedes.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you simply do an act of kindness for others in his name.
