He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Edward Garvey, Sr. and Margaret Catherine Garvey (Deeck); his brothers, John Garvey and Joseph Garvey; and his siblings-in-law, Gareth O'Bannon and Deborah Garvey (James).
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Garvey, Jr. (Dolores), James Garvey, Margaret Joann Garvey, Charles Garvey (Maria), Kathryn Wall, Kenneth Garvey, Flora O'Bannon and Bernadette Wolfe; and his sister-in-law Emy Garvey (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James J. Terry Funeral Home Inc. - Downingtown (736 E Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
