She was predeceased by : her parents, Aubrey Henry McDonald and Doris McDonald (Shirar); and her former life partner Louis Richardson. She is survived by : her children, Mark Richardson (Georgia) of Boston, MA, David Richardson of Las Vegas, NV, Claudia Stapleton (James), Kathryn "Kate" Franklin of Atlanta, GA, John Matthew "Matt" Staples and Hilary Staples (Robert Begg); her grandchildren, Brittany McDonald, Megan Richardson (Omri), Kevin Stapleton (Aubree), Derek, Riley, Dylan Stapleton (Alaina), Rachel Staples (Jake), Adrian Staples and Jaydon Franklin; her great grandchildren, Quinn, Liam and Logan; and her brother Richard McDonald (Helen) of Fredericksburg, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and by her second husband.
