He was predeceased by: his father Allen Spadt. He is survived by: his wife Colleen L. (Beil); his mother Edith Spadt (Heffelfinger) of Walnutport; his sons, Brian and Eric (Stacy); his grandchildren, Chase, Makenzie and Dylan; his sister-in-law Tammy A. Beil; and his sisters, Denise Moll (Roland), Donna Stein (Ray) and Gina Shaw (Eric). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Hope Lutheran Church Memorial Garden in loving memory of Dean.
