He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gabovitz and Mary Gabovitz (Jubik); and his wife Mary M. Gabovitz (Gallagher). He is survived by: his sons, Joseph (Janet Tashner) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Samuel, Stella, Vanessa and Brooke; and his siblings, Florence (Ronald Lentz) and Mark (Holly Gabovitz). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church or to Lehigh Gap Nature Center in loving memory of Jim.
