She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Sr. Plata and Anna Plata (Biss); and her siblings, Edward, Michael, Robert, David and Virginia.
She is survived by: her son Edward M. Plata (Bethann); her granddaughter Sarah Plata; her sisters, Ruthann Grieshammer, Mary Helen Plata and Annmarie Pavlinsky; her sister-in-law Virginia Plata; and her close friends, Barbara, Richard Ebner and Jean Keschl.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the church in Monica's memory.
