It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russel J. Gerhard of Northampton, Pennsylvania, born in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Gerhard and Catherine Gerhard (Miller); and his sisters, Cleo and June. He is survived by: his wife Frances "Sue" Gerhard (Riley); his sons, Gregory Gerhard (Margaret) and Jeffrey Gerhard (Jessica); his grandchildren, Shane and Ashley; and his siblings, Fred, Olive, Gerry and Irene. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
