She was predeceased by: her brother Steven Smith. She is survived by: her close friend Dennis Rehrig; her brother Mark Smith (Lisa); her sibling's children, Kyle, Colin Smith and Alyssa Smith; her sister-in-law Susan Smith; her sibling's children, Christopher (Melanie Rehrig) and Megan (Cory Snyder); her grandchildren, Sawyer, Lincoln, Abigail and Derek; and her pet Izzy.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oral Cancer Research, or Animals in Distress in Susan's memory.
