It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Forest McMeans of Sheffield, Pennsylvania, born in Warren, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edison McMeans and Elizabeth Horrell McMeans; his wife Elaine M. Strickenberger McMeans; his siblings, Redge, James McMeans, Muriel Richards and Faith Joost; and his in-laws, John Strickenberger, Bob and Susie Carbaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy McMeans of Warren, PA., Scott McMeans (Amy) of Russell, PA., Michael McMeans (Christy) of Grand Rapids, MI. and Michelle Figueira (Edward) of Bristow, VA.; his grandchildren, John, Madison, Ashlyn, Devin, Derek, Paige, Clara, Avery, Kylie McMeans, Gavin and Ryan Figueira; his stepgrandchildren, Morgan and Tanner Leichtenberger; his great grandchild Aurora; his sisters, Patty Briggs (Greg) of Warren, PA., April Parker of Erie, PA. and Autumn Lieberman of Pittsburgh, PA.; and his in-laws, Gloria Dugan of Youngsville, PA., Sherry Richards of Youngsville, PA., Joann McMeans of Warren, PA., James, Nancy Strickenberger of Tionesta, PA., Kathy Nale (Tim) of Venus, PA., Charlie and Wenda Strickenberger of Leeper, PA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (304 East St, Warren, PA 16365). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua R. C. Church (7222 US-6, Sheffield, PA 16347).
