She was predeceased by: her parents, Rollo Gower and Elizabeth Gower (Homewood); and her brother Tom Gower. She is survived by: her daughters, Alyson Kucharik (Jason), Eliza Hall (Ty Weist), Carly Handler (John) and Heather Irick; her grandchildren, Andrew, Vanessa, Megan, Paul and Pearl; and her brothers, Ed Gower and Dave Gower (Jennifer). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to St. Luke's Hospice, 2455 Black River Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18015, in Virginia's memory.
