He was predeceased by: his parents, John James and Marie Bertha Nitche Allen, Sr.; his wife Barbara McClellan Allen; his son Kelly D. Allen; and his siblings, David Allen, John Allen, Jr., Joseph Allen and Mary Eggleston.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Premus (Michael) of Staten Island, N. Y., Christine Allen of Warren, PA., Matthew M. Allen (Nancy) of Wilton and Edward J. Allen (Cindy) of Bear Creek, PA.; his grandchildren, Tony, Tom, Brian, Kimberly, Samantha, Matthew, Alexandra, Mariah and Arick; and his great grandchild Harper. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
