He is survived by: his wife Carol Urey Lopez; his daughters, Carrie Bumbarger of Concord, NC and Julie Williams (Craig) of Florence, SC; and his stepdaughter Julie Millard (Mike) of Bryson City, NC. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; 4 great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
