Jewel E. Simon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jewel E. Simon of Warren, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfield H. Sherman and Elizabeth J. Sampson Sherman; her husband Barry N. "Nig" Simon; and her brothers, Jeffrey and Donald Sherman.
She is survived by: her children, Barry N. Simon Jr. of Warren, PA, Carrie McMeans (Robert) of Jamestown, NY and Lizabeth Anderson of Ashville, NY; her grandchildren, Katie Wirtz, Morgan Genberg, Madison Anderson and Zachary Anderson; her great grandchild Sidney Wirtz; and her siblings, Jerry (Lien Sherman), David (Lila Sherman), Gay Hicks (Bill Kelly) and Gloria (Doug Neal). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emanuel United Church of Christ (1710 Pennsylvania Ave E, Warren, PA 16365). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
