With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon P. Edmiston of Warren, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 26, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Edmiston and Dorothy Kemmer Edmiston; his brothers, Gary Emory and Danny; and his brothers-in-law, David McHenry and Edward Robert Barney.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Barney Edmiston; his children, Tammy Edmiston Sweigart (Mark) of Jonesborough, TN., Rosie Edmiston Bortz (David) of Morganton, N. C. and Sloan Edward Edmiston (Tracie) of Mifflinburg, PA.; his siblings, Gregory Edmiston of Bandera, TX. and Lynda Edmiston McHenry of Shippenville, PA.; his grandchildren, Britney Sweigart, Hannah Bortz, Mackenzie Sweigart Arnett (Bradley) and Joshua Bortz; his stepgranddaughters, Amanda and Krystal Biel; and his great grandchildren, Suri Ann Hicks, Tatum Wren Arnett and Kelly Blake Arnett. He is also survived by 4 Step Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
