She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Bires and Mary Steffan Bires; her husband Robert J. Hammerbeck; her daughter Jill Ann; her sister Mary Metzgar; her brother-in-law Edward; her brothers, Bernard and George Bires; and her sister-in-law Mary Kay Bires.
She is survived by: her son Kurt Hammerbeck (Tracy) of Stokesdale, N. C.; her brother Robert Bires (Karen) of Youngsville, PA.; and her grandchildren, Faith Elizabeth and Will Hammerbeck. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
