He is survived by: the mother of his children Bonita K. Suppa; his children, Cheryl D. Schalk (John), Kim M. Smith (David) of Erie and Paul F. Bobelak of Warren, PA; his grandchildren, Cory Smith of Erie, Amanda Smith of Washington, Troy Bobelak of Warren and Nicole Faries of Erie; and his great grandchildren, Luke Smith, Faith Smith, Kaylee Smith and Payton Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
