He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Confer and Frances M. Chambers Confer; his wife Barbara R. Read Confer; his children, Jeff Confer and Lori Brown; and his brother James Confer.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Groves (Dennis) of Clarendon, PA.; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Confer of Pittsfield, PA.; and his brother Edward L. Confer (Deanne) of Sarasota, FL.. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Grandsons, 4 Step Great Great Grandsons 1 Great Great Granddaughter, several nieces, and nephews.
