He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz and Bernice Prince Rieder; his son Scott Rieder; and his siblings, Bill Rieder and Betty Rieder.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Mineweaser Rieder; his daughters, Joan Bradigan (Tom) of Cattaraugus, NY and Maryann McGhee (Gary) of Rio Grande, NJ; his stepson Dean Heffner (Lois) of Warren, PA; his brother Jack Rieder; his grandson Joe McGhee; his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlin DeFazio and Joel Heffner; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Arden Maeve DeFazio. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
