Claire W. Emig Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claire W. Emig of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George J. Emig; her parents, John Weeks and Anne Weeks (Hasson); her daughter-in-law MJ; and her siblings, Robert, John and Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Edward, Michael (Nancy), Frank (Cathy), Anne (Ming Wan), Dorothy Emig, Mary McNulty (Kevin), Catherine Rothrock (Thomas), Patricia Emig, Regina Mayberry (Stephen) and Theresa Emig. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (3024 S Ruch St, Whitehall, PA 18052). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery (3024 S Ruch St, Whitehall, PA 18052).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the church in Claire's memory.
