Jerome J. Matika Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerome J. Matika Sr. of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 28, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerome J. Matika Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Matika and Margaret Matika (Rechtor). He is survived by: his children, Jerry Matika, Jr. (Sheila), Chris Matika (Janine) and Leanne Muth (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Matt, Kayla, Bella, Vince, Jules, Dean and Ben; his great grandchild Wyatt; and his sister Cindy Moser (Phil). He is also survived by brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reichel Funeral Home (326 E 21st St, Northampton, PA 18067). The military honors will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in loving memory of Jerry.
