We announce the death of Daniel Leonard Suer of Johnston, South Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 53. Daniel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Marta; his children, Sergeant Daniel L. Suer, Jr. and Alexis Suer; his mother Suzanne Autin Suer; his siblings, Ginette Barcomb (Paul), Jeremy, Brian (Monica) and Benjamin (Eileen); his father Leo John Suer, Jr. (Suzanne Autin Suer); his brother Leo John Suer III; his nephew Silas Daniel; and his nieces, Isabelle Marie and Susan Michelle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (720 Telfair St, Augusta, GA 30901).
