He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Thomas and Heyward Thomas; his son Gregg Thomas; his daughter-in-law Jonie Thomas; and his grandson Austin McMakin.
He is survived by: his son Kelly Thomas; his stepdaughter Julie Wadford (Charles); his grandchildren, Cody, Daniel Wadford, Brandon, Chase and Rylee Thomas; his great grandchild Jon Waylon McMakin; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Thomas.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery (1186 Mt Calvary Rd, Johnston, SC 29832).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mt. Calvary Lutheran general fund.
