He is survived by: his siblings, Catherine Sutherland of Raleigh, NC, Howard Goldman (Joan) of Lynchburg, SC and Lee Goldman (Rose) of Florence, SC; and his children, Melissa Valenzuela (Pedro) of Pawleys Island, SC, Monica Ridgeway (Mark) of Charlotte, NC and Joel Goldman Jr. (Sarah) of Spartanburg, SC.. He is also survived by four grandsons, two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, and a host of nieces and nephews.
