He was predeceased by: his wife June Aiken; his parents, James and Harriet; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his children, James (Angy), Beth and Amanda (Jay); his grandchildren, Avery (Kara), Lucas (Kaitlyn), Allie, Sam and June; and his great grandchildren, Anna and Atlas.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery (1339 Columbia Rd, Johnston, SC 29832).
