He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Mae and Revelle Wray Climer; and his siblings, Betty Henderson (Doyle), Gloria Skrbich (George) and Franklin Climer (Mary Lou).
He is survived by: his wife Donna Sue Climer; his sons, Rex Wayne Climer II (Allison) of Bells, TN. and Michael Climer (Tricia) of Bells, TN.; his siblings, Hinton Climer (Joan) and Lynda Vince (David); and his grandchildren, Josh Eidson, Rex Wayne Climer III, Crystal Ivester (Eric), Michaela Buttler (Brandon), Savannah Horton (John) and Jared Eidson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bells First Baptist Church (55 Main St, Bells, TN 38006). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to Bells First Baptist Church.
