With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janie Borders of Humboldt, Tennessee, born in Gibson, Tennessee, who passed away on July 25, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Grady Simmons and Thelma Chumley Simmons; her daughter Christy Smith; and her brothers, James Simmons, David Simmons and Rickey Simmons.

She is survived by : her husband Larry Borders of Humboldt; her stepson Bryan Borders of Medina; her sister Ann Jarnigan; and her stepgrandsons, Austin Borders and Decklan Borders. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
