He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Howard Williams and Elease Sanders Williams; and his siblings, Dot Witherspoon, Jean Ford, Charles Williams, Leon Williams and Emmett Williams.

He is survived by : his wife Dot King Williams of Jackson; his sons, Tim Williams of Jackson and Shane Williams of Florida; and his siblings, Betty Jo Ringold of Jackson and Johnny Williams (Taylor Williams) of Jackson.
