She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Newbill and Lillie Burns Newbill; and her husband Billy J. Mize. She is survived by: her children, Timothy N. Newbill of Memphis, William J. Mize of Greenville and LuAnn Grittner (Dennis) of Sharon; her grandchildren, Neal Newbill and Abbey Robertson (Gage); and her great grandchild Sophie Robertson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Ruth Ann's honor.
