She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Freeman and Nancy Ledbetter Barber; her husband James Willhite; and her brothers, Freeman Barber, James Barber and Roy Barber.
She is survived by: her sisters, Gladys Dobly of Indiana, Claudean Reynolds of Trenton and Carol Rogers (Tony) of Medina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
