Smith; his children, Reese and Brook; his brother Richard Smith (Sherri) of Cookeville, TN; his siblings-in-law, Tracy Merrill (James) of Medina, TN and Matthew Smith of Milan, TN; his grandchildren, Theo Seth Herring and Zoey Choate; his nieces and nephews, Noah Merrill, Emmett Merrill of Medina, TN, Abigail Meyers (Casey) of Knoxville, TN, Leslie Harrah (Cole) of Collegedale, TN, Jessica Pennycuff (Bailey) of Johnson City, TN and Ava Smith of Milan, TN.; and his aunts and uncles, Linda Parrino (Tony) of Las Vegas, NV, Margaret Forsythe of Martin, TN, Peggie Myers of Brownsville, TN, Tessa Smith of Brownsville, TN, Sue Dutton of Bells, TN., Earl Smith of Brownsville, TN, Jimmy Smith of Brownsville, TN, Gary Smith of Jackson, TN. and Billy Smith of Jackson, TN..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Family Chapel (27 Oil Well Rd, Jackson, TN 38305). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of gifts, the family requests that donations be made in Tim's memory to Kirkland's Cancer Center and/or Palliative Care Department, to honor his courageous fight with pancreatic cancer.
