He is survived by: his wife Theresa Trahan Gilbert of Arlington, Texas; his daughter Monica Gilbert Hill; his son-in-law Stephen Hill; his son Quentin Gilbert of Mansfield Texas; his grandchildren, Kailyn Elizabeth Hill of McKinney and Cameron Joseph Hill; his siblings, Nolan Gilbert (Viola) of Delcambre, LA, Mary Lou Ozenne of Lafayette, LA and Lula Mae Gilbert Decuir of Delcambre, LA.; and his niece Yolanda Wells.
