He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Erwin and Onita Lyons Elliott; and his children, Mike (Debbie), Linda and Barbie Hinds (Kenny).
He didn't die from heart disease, cancer, a bone infection, or COVID—but rather "too many damnable birthdays".
