It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Joan Hoyland Hammer of Kaysville, Utah, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hoyland and Evelyn Margaret Hoyland (Curren); her husband Keith Leland Hammer; and her children, Mark Hammer and Ellen Hammer Ferdon.
She is survived by: her children, John J. (Tara) and Mary M.; and her brothers, William H. Hoyland and James R. Hoyland. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
