He was predeceased by: his brother Ryan Mathews; his stepbrother Bryan Lee Compton; and his uncles, Steven and Sherman Richens. He is survived by: his son Chevey Dee; his wife Shaunna; his parents, Kerry Dee Mathews and Amy Audrey Richens (Gerald); his brother Matt Compton; and his stepbrothers, Chris and Jeff Compton.
