She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeary Mathews and Beulah Jane Anderson; her husband Reese Murphy; her daughter Terri Sue Rasmussen; and her siblings, Ruthford Mathews, Louise Nelson and Dorothy "Dot" Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Ted Hunting of Roosevelt, Vernal of Roosevelt, McCoy Murphy of Roosevelt and Evah Taylor (David) of Roosevelt. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
