He is survived by: his wife Wendy Ann Marsing Evans; his daughter Lynnette Tibbets (Roy); his stepsons, Bryant Sowsonicut (Cheryl) of West Jordan, Utah, Christopher Evans (Carie) of West Jordan, Utah, Max L Evans, Jr. (Lilliana) of West Jordan, Utah and Jon Evans of West Jordan, Utah; and his siblings, Violet Jordan, Nelson Coop, Jacqueline Eyre and Julie Miner. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
