He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamar Nielsen and Olive Young Nielsen; his son Douglas Keith Nielsen; and his brother Floyd Nielsen. He is survived by: his wife Linda K Brisbin; his daughters, Sherry Winn (Ed), Shirley Domgaard (Kenny), Kathy Ross (Richard), Ralynn Warby (Santee) and Jeanie Luck (Maclain); and his siblings, Larry Nielsen (Shelly), Renae Grant (Byron) and Leon Nielsen (Lisa). He is also survived by grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren.
