He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Cook Safley and Leon Rich Safley; and his nephew Caden Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Safley; his children, Jaron Safley (Rachel), Kalab Safley (Sage) and Ajia Mouritsen (Benjamin); his grandchildren, Ephraim, Lynlee, Lorna and Hyrum; and his sisters, Myra Jones (Lance Ballard), Jody Batty and Amy (Derek).
