He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin M Gillman (Snow) and Louie Thorne Gillman; and his siblings, Lowell, Dale, JVar, Paul and Rayola.

He is survived by : his wife Karolyn Swenson; his children, Charlotte Gillman, Vernal, Darrell, Ronda Gillman, Jolynn, Grant Peterson, Karalee, David Kettle, Ballard, Brent and Erica Gillman; and his brother Clint Gillman (Marilyn).
