He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Sam Kettle (Cindy), Lesa O'Driscoll (William), Lora Riley (Jason), Julia Johnson (Tracy) and Al Kettle (Calli); his sister Renee Womack (Stan); and his sister-in-law Marlene Kettle of Roosevelt. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
