He was predeceased by : his parents, Douglas Hemenway and Lilian Ord Bertoch; and his brothers-in-law, Lawrence Adams, Ferd Alder and Don Funcannon.
He is survived by : his wife Carol Louise Bertoch; his children, Eric Bertoch (Cindy), Sharmel Walker (Mike), Phillip Bertoch (Doris), Roosevelt, Mark Bertoch (Tina) and Mathew Bertoch (Carlina); and his sisters, Liane Alder, LaRae Funcannon and Jeannette King (Mike). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and thirty-nine great grandchildren.
