We announce the death of Prentiss Glen Barker (Roosevelt, Utah), who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 76. Prentiss will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Mathews Barker and Calvin Barker; and his sibling Merle. He is survived by: his sister Ruth Ann Sather; his daughters, Stephanie Turville (Jason Turville) and Tiffany Phelps (Brandon Phelps); his grandchildren, Brenden Turville, Hayden Phelps (Marriah Phelps), Mikki Turville and Lexi Phelps; and his pet Susie. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Innichement Memorial (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Roosevelt Memorial Park (40 N 400 W, Roosevelt, UT 84066).
