He was predeceased by: his father Jerald Dean Nichols; his former wife Candace Leona Larsen; his siblings, Steven Val Nichols and Helen Maureen Knight Howe; and his stepdaughter Gina Tori O'Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Tracie; his mother Helen Beth Nichols of St. George, Utah; his siblings, Verle Dean Nichols of Las Vegas, Nevada and Shauna Lee Johnson of Nibley, Utah; his sons, Brent D. Nichols (Seana) of Ogden, Todd Nichols (Kelli) of Roy and Troy Nichols of St. George, Utah; his grandchildren, Mirkeli, Cassidee, Tyler and Kade; his great grandchildren, Lyric and Autumn; his stepdaughter Kimberlee Lopez (Tim); and his stepgrandchildren, Brooklyn, Charlotte and Lincoln. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Snow Canyon Stake Center (1184 N Dixie Downs Rd, St. George, UT 84770).
