It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Shaw Draper of Saint George, Utah, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Laurie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laurie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew, Andrea (Jake), Jason and Alisha; and her grandchildren, Logan, Payton, Presley, Marley, Cooper and Lexy.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Metcalf Mortuary (288 W St George Blvd, St. George, UT 84770).
