He is survived by: his wife Mary Katherine La Pinta; his stepchildren, Shih, Maggie and Sadie; his granddaughter Amelia Jeanne Cox; his children, Ashley Cox (Cameron) and Joseph Walton; his granddaughter Amelia Cox; his brother Peter Jacobs (JoAnne); his nephews, Paul Jr. Jacobs (Amanda) and Paul Kelly (Wendy); and his niece Carol Marquez (Ruben).
