He is survived by: his wife Avis Sasse; his sister Vera Zimmer (George); his children, Scott Sasse (Bonnie), Janine Englert (Mark) and Kalyn Frei (Bryce); his grandchildren, Cody Englert (Alexandria), Kaitlyn Clark (Kristopher), Eric Sasse (Kayci), Laura Sasse and Mikayla Frei; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Jesse Englert, Thaddeus Clark and Caleb Roffey (Sasse).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and School, St. George, Utah.
