He was predeceased by: his parents, Rulon Alvin and Belva Moore Ipsen; and his siblings, Beverly Beard, Dean, Jerry and David.

He is survived by: his wife Dawn Terry; his children, Randy (Rosana), Terri Burton (Jeff), Kerwin (Cindi), Kamen and Erin Madrigal (Rick); and his siblings, Carol Pollei, Louise Shields and Alvin (Susan). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
