It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Nelson Reeve of Saint George, Utah, born in Sandy, Utah, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leo; her stepchildren, Stephen, David and Roene; her parents, Paul Ernest Nelson and Eunice Ensign Nelson; her siblings, Paul E. Nelson, Woodrow E. Nelson, Rene E. Nelson, Rachel N. Nutter, Charlotte N. Richardson, Annette N. Brown and Ellwood E. Nelson; and her great grandchild Katie Jo Haggard.
She is survived by: her sons, James Nelson Reeve (Suzanne McKinnon Reeve) and Walter Paul Reeve (Beth Brumer Reeve); her brother J. Dewey Nelson; her brother-in-law Frank Brown; and her daughter-in-law Kay Reeve Woodbury. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hurricane 9th Ward Chapel (Red Brick Church) (274 S 100 W, Hurricane, UT 84737). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Hurricane City Cemetery (250 East 600 North, Hurricane, UT 84737).
