We announce the death of Elizabeth Jean Hench of Santa Clara, Utah, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 47. Elizabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Elizabeth will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Elizabeth’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: husband: Nathan Hench; parents: Timothy and Joanne Bolokoski Tanner; daughters: Genevieve and Alexandra Hench; grandmother: Bonnie Jean Schow Bolokoski Kunkel (Lloyd); siblings: Melissa Stauffer (Kurt), Tim Tanner (Martha), Katherine Wall (David) and Victoria Wang (Kai); and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and other loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Santa Clara Rachel Drive Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3815 Rachel Dr, Santa Clara, UT 84765). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Santa Clara City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations toward a memorial bench that Liz requested be placed near her burial site.
